Our team of students strives to spotlight diverse cultures with our creations. We are devoted to using our wide range of skills to serve non-native, independent businesses and to amplify their unique traits.


Founder & CEO
Growing up in the Bay Area with Asian immigrant parents, Jami has been raised with a multi-cultural background around a culturally rich diaspora of independent, ethnic establishments. Witnessing the cultural and language barriers that appear within these businesses, she started Taste of Bay in hopes of minimizing the discrepancy of exposure cultural establishments often face. She is eager to grow a community within Taste of Bay of like-minded individuals willing to equip creative skills to serve the multicultural community.

Benjamin Zhang
From his time as a kid in China to immigrating to the US as the "new kid" Ben's desire to immerse himself in various cultures is something he carries as he serves ethnic restaurants through Taste of Bay.
Isabelle Kok
Coming from a Singaporean and Indian background, Isabelle has been inspired by various cultures in her lifetime. She hopes to use her writing to support different communities and illustrate various cultures.
